high mpg

50% of a car's energy is expended pushing it through the air. So why are you driving a big square box?

are you getting 49 mpg?

CAFE standards nhtsa.gov

the 2021 Biden executive order 13990 raised fuel efficiency standards. NHTSA corporate average fuel economy (CAFE) standards require 49 mpg by 2026 for passenger cars and light trucks, including SUVs. Separate standards are set for medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks and engines.

EPA's motor vehicle emission simulator (MOVES) is a modeling system. MOVES specifies that trucks with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) less than 8,500 lbs are light duty.
